The BCN Base ampoules contain hyaluronic acid, X-DNA and silicon. A sophisticated combination that guarantees maximum hydration, resulting in optimal elasticity. However, elasticity is often unnecessarily undermined by the impact of free radicals. They damage the cells, resulting in premature aging. The powerful antioxidant effect of the natural polymer X-DNA offers essential protection against this. Silicon renews and regenerates the skin cells.

Hyaluronic acid is one of the most important components of the extracellular matrix (non-cellular matter between the cells in the tissue); it fills the space between collagen and elastin fibers. It also makes an important contribution to cell division and migration of skin cells to the skin surface, it promotes fibroblast activity and ensures that essential nutrients are transported from the blood to the living skin cells. The most important characteristic, however, is that it can attract and retain up to 1000 times its own weight in moisture. This ensures optimal hydration, retention of dermal and epidermal elasticity and more volume in the skin; the effect that fine lines are filled from within. In addition, hyaluronic acid stimulates the skin's own production of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). They also play a key role in retaining moisture in the skin and stimulate collagen production. A deficiency of GAGs accelerates the aging process because it leads to loss of collagen and elasticity.
X-DNA Gel (Sodium DNA, pure nucleic acid) is able to repair necrotic cells (cell death due to oxidative damage). If this is not repaired and the cell remains are not cleared away, this can lead to the death of surrounding cells and tissue damage. Nucleic acid therefore makes an essential contribution to the preservation and repair and preservation of tissue (firm skin). In addition, nucleic acid has excellent hydrating properties and is often used in anti-aging to tackle ‘photoaging’ (aging as a result of exposure to UV).
